Aix-Marseille Université, via the Mechanics, Modeling and Clean Processes Laboratory (M2P2), has been chosen to organize the 16th edition of the GRUTTEE international congress, in close collaboration with the Chemistry of the Environment Laboratory (LCE) and the Center for Research and Teaching in Environmental Geosciences (CEREGE).
The University Research Group on Water Treatment and Purification Techniques ( GRUTTEE) is an association that organizes a biennial conference on the themes of water treatment and related issues, such as sanitation, potabilization, industrial effluent treatment and resource protection. The network, made up of French academics, brings together research skills in a wide range of disciplines: chemistry, microbiology, physical chemistry, biology, process engineering, public health, human and social sciences, etc.
Supported by IM2B, the 2026 edition will take place in Marseille, on the Saint-Charles campus, with the Mechanics, Modeling and Clean Processes Laboratory (M2P2) at the helm. Conferences and poster sessions will be held over two and a half days (Tuesday March 31 to Thursday April 2), with the participation of Eveline Volcke, Professor at Ghent University in Belgium (UGent), and Bernard Legube, Professor Emeritus at the University of Poitiers, attached to the IC2MP research unit and ENSI-Poitiers.
Registration for the conference is already open, with a reduced rate available until February 15 and a final closing date of March 8, 2026. Posters can still be submitted, with a deadline of February 15, 2026.
