Thanks to the IM2B Incoming Mobility grant, I benefited from an additional source of funding during my M2 internship at the CNRS, accommodation at the CROUS and border crossing assistance as a foreign student. I then continued to work at CNRS (Laboratoire BIP) as a PhD student, benefiting from the advantages of IM2B platforms (JSM3, Plinius Cursus).

Thanks to funding from IM2B, I did my end-of-study internship (Master 2 Biochimie Structurale et Génomique AMU) at IMM. I had a very good experience of this internship under the supervision of Dr Déborah B. and I learned a lot about the laboratory Research environment and in particular protein production and purification. It was this experience that opened up new horizons and enabled me to land my first job as a research engineer at IBPC in Paris.

Thanks to a Cum Laude scholarship from the TIGER project, I was able to secure an internship in the "Bioenergetics and Protein Engineering" (BIP) laboratory to complete my Master 2. This internship enabled me to develop skills at the Chemistry-Biology interface, skills directly related to my professional project. The scholarship and internship also helped me to pursue a PhD at BIP.

IM2B financed my M2 chemistry internship, which I carried out between the "Protein Expression Facility" (PEF) technology platform and the "Bioenergetics and Protein Engineering" Laboratory (BIP). This work enabled me to acquire interdisciplinary skills that are in line with my professional project at the chemistry-biology interface, in particular as part of my PhD at BIP.

IM2B has always been an active member of the community of companies and research laboratories led by the competitiveness cluster. This is reflected in the labeling of projects, the organization of joint events and our very interesting participation in the Institute's Scientific Advisory Board. We appreciate the ambition, the high level of research and the interdisciplinary approach.

Thanks to an incoming mobility grant from the IM2B institute in 2021, I was able to carry out my Master 2 internship in Marseille in the BBF laboratory. This Internationally-acquired experience enabled me to build up a scientific network and continue my scientific career, in Marseille, as part of a thesis co-financed by the IM2B institute.

I'm the coordinator of the FeShijack project, supported by the IM2B Institute and an awardee of A*Midex's AAP Interdisciplinarité 2021. This collaborative project, led by 3 teams from the BIP, IGS and LCB laboratories, explores the role of iron-sulfur centers in giant viruses. The IM2B was a real catalyst in launching this emerging theme and positioning us for future AAPs.
