On Thursday June 4, IMM and IM2B will close the IMMpulse cycle with a third day dedicated to scientific entrepreneurship, organized in the P. Desnuelle amphitheater on the Joseph Aiguier campus. This event will highlight the opportunities offered to researchers wishing to add value to their work by setting up their own company, drawing on the region's ecosystem of support and funding.

Introduced by Christophe Pellegrino, Vice-President of Training at Aix-Marseille University, the day will be structured around two complementary sessions. The morning session, dedicated to doctoral and post-doctoral students, will shed light on the prospects for setting up a business after the thesis, with the participation of key players such as Pépite Provence, the BPI, the CCI, Rising Sud and CNRS Innovation. Inspiring testimonials, notably from young scientists, will provide concrete examples of possible career paths.

The afternoon session will be aimed more specifically at researchers, teacher-researchers and support staff, with an emphasis on support and funding schemes for entrepreneurial projects. Organizations such as Métropole Aix-Marseille-Provence, CEA, SATT Sud-Est, the Impulse incubator and Eurobiomed will present the levers available to support the transformation of research results into business projects. These presentations will be rounded off by feedback from researcher-entrepreneurs, before a networking session to encourage direct exchanges. This final stage in the IMMpulse cycle aims to provide the community with the keys to taking the entrepreneurial plunge and turning research into a concrete innovation dynamic.
