As part of its attractiveness and international mobility policy, Aix-Marseille Université has set up the TIGER excellence scholarship programme, a scheme designed to attract the brightest international students. Among the courses supported by the Institut de Microbiologie, Bioénergies et Biotechnologies (IM2B), three high-level courses are eligible for this programme.
The TIGER Master's Excellence Scholarship is designed to offer selected students the best possible conditions for the success of their academic project. It includes financial assistance, accommodation and a personalized welcome on arrival.
This scheme is fully in line with Aix-Marseille Université's internationalization strategy, and with IM2B's commitment to supporting research-based training programmes of excellence.
The courses concerned are as follows, and are based on a very high-level scientific environment, with close links to IM2B research units, and prepare students for academic and industrial careers in the fields of structural biochemistry, microbiology and biotechnology:
- Master's degree in Structural Biology and Genomics (BSG) - Structural biochemistry course (BS)
- Master's degree in Microbiology - Fundamental Microbiology course (MiF)
- Polytech Engineering Cycle - Biological and Biotechnological Engineering stream
Students do not need to take any specific steps to apply for a Master's Excellence Scholarship. All they have to do is submit an application for the Master's course of their choice, via the application platform adapted to their personal situation.
Once the applications have been received, the course coordinators examine all the files and select the students who are most likely to benefit from the scholarship, on the basis of academic excellence. Successful applicants first receive their letter of admission to the Master's program.
A separate notification is then sent to the selected students.
Please note that the award of a scholarship does not exempt non-European international students from the payment of differentiated registration fees. These fees remain payable to finalize enrolment in the chosen course.
