The Microbiology, Bioenergies et Biotechnology Institute is pleased to announce the return of the METHODS seminars with a first edition at 2pm, Wednesday April 29, in J. Senez room on the Jospeh Aiguier site. This session will be presented by Flora Honoré and is entitled "PitchµM: Where science flows".

Flora Honoré presents

"PitchµM: Where Science Flows"

Come and discover how your research can flow forward with PitchµM, through expertise in flow cytometry and microfluidics.

PitchµM is a newly established activity at LCB, open to the community and built around the complementary use of microfluidics and flow cytometry.

The microfluidic tools we develop enable the investigation of microorganisms across multiple scales, from single cells to complex communities such as biofilms, and within precisely controlled environments (e.g., chemical gradients and gas concentrations).

In parallel, the platform provides access to IMM’s newly acquired flow cytometer, supporting both analytical cytometry and cell sorting applications.

This presentation will introduce the platform’s resources, organization, and user support, illustrated by selected experimental examples. Practical aspects, including training opportunities and operating procedures, will also be discussed, along with future developments and user needs.
