On April 28, IMM and IM2B will be holding a day-long event on the Joseph Aiguier site, dedicated to collaboration between academic research and socio-economic players on water-related issues. This is a key event for developing partnership projects and strengthening links between laboratories and companies.
Registration is now open for Biopartners Day, part of a global drive to bring the worlds of research and business closer together. Entitled "At the heart of water: microbiology at the service of innovation", this event aims to encourage the emergence of concrete collaborations, notably through the co-construction of master's degree internship topics responding to industrial issues.
The participation of companies from the Novachim, Éa éco-entreprises and Aqua-valley networks has already been confirmed, alongside several laboratories from the IM2B ecosystem: BBF, BIAM, IMM, iSm2, LCB, M2P2 and MIO. This diversity of players will enable us to combine scientific expertise and industrial needs around strategic themes:
- Monitoring and detecting water quality
- Living organisms for pollution control
- Sustainable water treatment and restoration
- Data-driven control and anticipation
Structured around pitchs, posters and B2B meetings, the day will provide a framework conducive to targeted exchanges and the identification of partners. The aim is to turn meetings into concrete projects, by facilitating contacts and initiating lasting collaborations between academic research and local economic players.
