Each year, the IM2B Research Committee launches its "Interdisciplinarity" and "New Entrants" calls for research projects. These calls respectively support the initiation of new inter-laboratory or even inter-institute collaborations, and the initiation of new themes by new entrants to the IM2B. These 2 calls encourage risk-taking and scientific daring.
Interdisciplinarity 2026 winning projects:
- Asgardomics - Exploring the diversity of Asgard archaea from shallow hydrothermal vents via culture-based and omics methods, led by Gaël Erauso (MIO), Caroline Monteil (BIAM) and Christopher Lefèvre (BIAM).
- Analysis of bacterial phenotypic heterogeneity by flow cytometry, led by Aude Barani (MIO) and Sybille Tachon (LCB).
- Structural evaluation of platelet-targeted immunotherapeutics in sepsis, led by Yves Bourne (AFMB, IM2B) and Yotis Senis (C2VN, Institute for Cancer and Immunology).
